I have worked in the public sector for 20 years, providing psychotherapy and education to victims of crime, survivors of trauma, child abuse, domestic violence, and substance use disorders. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I provided clinical supervision to post master’s psychology interns for over ten years, and therapeutic and case management to youth in custody under the care of the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR), pending reunification. I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and have been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist since 2002. I have successfully treated hundreds of youth and families and have extensive experience with the juvenile justice system.
