CREDENTIALS OF THE EVALUATOR: Sandra Ramirez Griggs, LMFT
I have worked with victims of crime, survivors of trauma, child abuse, and domestic violence for over 20 years. During this time, I have worked with individuals and families in treatment to address their trauma using Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Child Parent Psychotherapy, and Critical Stress Incident Debriefing.
I am also an Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant and have provided clinical and educational support to many early childhood programs/staff. I have been trained in Trauma Informative Care and have provided clinical supervision to post masters interns and participated in multiple cultural competency trainings. I have provided services in both the public sector and government agencies. I provide both parent and school staff psycho-education and other community based services.
I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have successfully treated nearly a thousand children and families with complex trauma over the span of more than two decades with positive outcomes, restoring children back onto their developmental trajectory and families back to pre trauma cohesion and stability.
