Kristine earned her Master’s Degree in Social Welfare (MSW) in 2005 and has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2008. She has worked with individuals and groups with histories of trauma, child abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault for 20 years in both non-profit and governmental settings, including an inpatient psychiatry unit for veterans. Kristine served on the Cultural Competency Advisory Board and Disaster Mental Health Team in a governmental setting. She supervised pre-graduate Master’s level interns as a Field Instructor for several Bay Area MSW programs, as well as post-graduate ASWs and MFTi’s working on licensure. She has also been a field faculty member at a Bay Area MSW program. Kristine trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). K.
